Not worrying about the rain

I've owned two of these fans. I installed one on a teardrop and another on an Airstream. Very easy to install and has been completely rain proof. On my Airstream, I tried to go without the MaxxFan because I didn't want to drill into my new baby, but after anxiety of thinking if I left the fan open or not convinced me to purchase. In warm weather, I leave it open all the time. Plus, I can ventilate while cooking during a rain storm. I set the auto function at 67F degrees so when the temperature at night cools, it automatically turns off and closes so we don't get too cold. Plus, the latest fan doesn't bounce like the previous version while you are travelling down the road. I just leave it open all the time to keep it cool, even when parked in storage. The remote functions as a temperature gauge in the RV as well. Incredible product!

Nice device for RV's and Trailers. I reccomend it

Hi These are well made and easy to install. All needed parts are supplied as well as instructions. It is quiet on speeds 1,2 and 3 but higher speeds are hard on conversation. 10 would clear the air after a grease fire or uncle Ralph and his cigar but its loud. Using the first three speeds it is able to keep the air flowing and the heat down on many days when you would otherwise need to close up and go to air due to heat build up. It can be programmed to shut off at a selected temp. It does a great job of keeping heat down in storage when left on low. It folds down to reduce drag when you shut it off. Has a remote. The only word of warning here is that you are getting the one with the thermostat that only shuts off the fan when the temp drops, not the one that can turn the fan on and off according to your settings repeatedly. That was disappointing to me.
