Separating Goat Milk

We were surprised because this product is russian with russian and english instructions. It has worked fine but has 11 delicate plastic parts internally which we dare not trust to our farm hands because it has to be disassembled completely after each use and thouroghly washed with soap and warm water. We do not know at this moment where we could get spare parts and would recommend to the supplier to furnish a recommended set of spare plastic separators right along with the original purchase. And of course you have to watch out when purchasing that it is for 220V only operation, be sure to have access to this voltage and be prepared to have a european receptacle for the`plug provided. Frank Müller-Karger NOW I HAVE A QUESTION TO THE MANUFACTURER: WE HAVE USED THE PRODUCT AND WORKED FINE. CLEANED IT AND STORED IT FOR 2 MONTH. USED IT AGAIN BUT NOW WE CANNOT DISENGAGE THE CONE FROM THE MOTOR CONICAL SHAFT FOR PROPER CLEANING AND REASSEMBLY. CAN SOMEBODY HELP? WOULD APPRECIATE ANSWER TO fmulka@gmail.com FRANK MULLER-KARGER

save your money for a more reliable product

The price lured me into buying this separator even though it was from Russia. Russian directions. OK, I figured it out. It worked great once I figured out the trickiness of it (like any separator) but the motor burned out by about the 3rd use. When I took it to be looked at the repair guy said it was a cheap, crappy motor and was not worth the money to repair it. Too bad. I was a little nervous, anyway about the all aluminum parts in contact with food. Not OK. Better ones are all stainless steel. I've heard others say the same thing about them dying out pretty quickly. But the taste of ice cream and butter I got out of my goat milk has me saving up for another- more quality- one. Don't get suckered. It's true, you get what you pay for.
